Authority, OpenID, and LDAP in Novel simplify and secure user access to PACS. Authority lets admins define access rules based on resources such as doctor, modality, report status, gender, or patient-level criteria. OpenID allows users to log in with their Gmail account, while LDAP enables synchronization with systems like Active Directory, HIS, and RIS so users can access Novel using their existing accounts.
User & Role Management
User & Role Management in Novel allows admins to define roles with different access levels, create and assign users to those roles, manage user details and access history, create default roles, support unlimited users and roles, and back up user data.
Secure Novel and PACS with Two-Step Authentication (2FA). Users enter their username, password, and an SMS confirmation code to verify identity, prevent unauthorized access, and protect patient data.
